Founded in 1976, Omega started as a 2 man service shop for Motorola 2-way radios. Now, while still providing sales and service to Motorola and other brand 2-way radios, Omega provides complex solutions throughout western Canada including 911 Emergency Fire/Rescue dispatch networks, radio based monitoring and control of major utilities such as hydro-electric, natural gas, fresh and waste water systems, and communications networks for the largest mines in the country.

Russ has a background in electronics, specializing in telecommunications and system design. After working as a sales/design rep and manager, in 2008 Russ became a partner in the company and is now Vice President. With over 20 years of experience offering customized technology solutions in the Interior of BC, he understands the big picture needs for each client.

Warren Saari

Warren completed his Bachelors degree in Business administration from SFU in 1990 and began his career with Omega in 1991. He has worked in several roles within the organization starting with purchasing / inventory control, followed by service manager, sales rep, sales manager, VP of Business Development, and now President & GM. He became a partner in the business in 2001. Warren now focuses on finding new products to take to market, explores solutions for key markets and continues to work directly with key accounts. In his capacity in business development, Warren has identified, sourced and developed our offerings in the healthcare market with our Code Alert solutions, in the SCADA market with our Modpac plus wireless modem solutions and the public safety & utilities markets with our Zetron 911 dispatching solutions as some examples of his efforts. He is presently focusing on the mining sector.
