TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - WIRELESS DIVISION

LOCATION: Kamloops, BC

TERRITORY: Thompson/North Okanagan Regions and surrounding areas

COMPENSATION: Salary, commission, benefits plan, and car allowance

The Kamloops branch of Omega Communications Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Technical Sales representative. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide sales and after sales support to our existing customer base
  • Create new business through strategic prospecting plans
  • Provide system & equipment consultation to existing customers and prospects for two-way radios, pagers, satellite phones, broadband, CCTV, and card access solutions

In-house and manufacturer-sponsored training will be provided for all aspects of the position, including product training and sales techniques.

The ideal candidate shall possess the following skills / traits / experience:

    minded nature.
  • A commitment to service, attention to follow-up and desire to build long term
    client relationships.
  • A proven ability to overcome obstacles with the evidence of tenacity.
  • A focus that indicates an effective utilization of time and effort while attending
    to the necessary details of the position.
  • A personal desire for leaving a "footprint" through achievement and success.
  • Previous outside sales experience with a performance based compensation plan (Preference given to experience in a related field).
  • University or College diploma in business or technical field.
  • Technical aptitude and resourceful nature.
  • Computer skills in a Windows environment. Working knowledge and experience
    with Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office programs.
  • Car and valid driver's license.
